You’ve all heard the saying “Behind every good man is a great woman”. Well I say behind every blog is a great person with a wealth of information and experiences to share. I might not be witty or a “writer”, but I bet you’ll learn something new and have fun in the process.
Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Gilda. I’m a Mom, a Wife, an Organizer, a Dreamer, a Planner, a lady living the Frugal Lifestyle, an Amateur Photographer, an Web Designer and a Detailed-Oriented Project Manager. For the last 3 years I’ve been the sole proprietor of my own business doing contract project management work and web design (from home). Although my passion (and hopefully future second business) is in all things Organizing – time, space, stuff and ideas. I have the rare gift (or so people keep telling me) of being a Big Picture person that can really break things down to the nitty gritty without getting lost in the details or the big picture.
People can’t imagine where I find the time to do everything I do, but that’s just part of being a Working (at home) Mom. (It probably doesn’t hurt that I’m have Type-A tendencies and have a slightly neurotic passion for organizing and planning.) Of course, along with all the things I (and my family juggle) we have a fairly balanced life. It’s all in the art of saying “No” to the right things at the right time, so you can fully say “Yes” to the things that are most important.
What is most important to you?
My main goal is to provide for my kids and create memories of a loving, God-centered home (with a maybe slightly silly Mom that just happens to have a weakness for organizing and making plans). Thank goodness for a loving, God-centered and silly Dad who helps balance me out. And in line with this same hope for my family, I hope that my life can spill over to help others have a balanced life filled with those things that are most important to them.
